FREE WEIGHTS

When using dumbbells and barbells for your work outs you will be using more than the main targeted muscle group. In nearly all exercises you will be required to also use your stabilizing muscles to move the weights through the full movement of the excercise. This will improve on muscle strength and power.

DUMBBELLS


Using Dumbbells during your training program can will offer an increased range of motion for some exercises. Dumbbells also force you to stabilize the weight you're holding in both hands and this in turn improves coordination and activates secondary stabilizing muscle groups. Dumbbell workouts are also great for evening out any strength imbalances.

BARBELLS


Using a Barbell during your workout will allow you to lift more weight. Barbells are designed to hold more weight than the dumbbells and are safer to use when lifting heavier weights, since you control the bar with both hands. There are exercises for all body parts that require the use of a barbell.
